Improved Accessibility for Broken Link Reporting
After receiving a report about incompatibilities between the Broken Link Reporting form and screen reading software, several people worked together to identify the issues, implement code, and test the form. The Broken Link Reporting form is now compatible with screen reader software and is being deployed to all MnPALS member Primo VE instances who use it.
This collaboration is a prime example of MnPALS members working with PALS Office staff to ensure we are serving patrons appropriately. Special thanks to William for both identifying the issue and working with us to fix the form, thus improving the end user experience for many people. The team was:
- Perry Madden, Support and Training Specialist at PALS
- Simon Mai, Information System Developer and Integrator at PALS
- William Straub, Systems and Digital Services Librarian at St. Catherine University
